One is plummeting towards a star (that it started off effectively next to) . The other : propelled away from one. So, utterly irrelevant to the point (the feasibility of humans being interstellar - capable).

I heard a podcast about such things and, iirc, both the milky way and andromeda galaxies are so "empty" on the grand scheme, there won't be much likelihood of anything much actually colliding..... .... at least, not at the first encounter. Interstellar distances truly are astronomical.

The desi pub I frequently....... frequent....... the meals get hotter and hotter as time goes by. My go-to started getting too spicy to be enjoyable, so I went to a new, milder dish. That's now going the same way. Bugger knows why it's happening, but it is a shame.
