    15mm to 22mm?

I'm not really interested in all that. It's only to do with emissions etc blah blah blah The conservatory is insulated above and has ceilings and warmed up well enough with electric storage heaters before it was insulated, so l'm just going to do it.

    15mm to 22mm?

Yes have a combi and flow and return is 22mm from the boiler. But 15mm flow and return coming down to feed downstairs rads is what l meant.

    15mm to 22mm?

The kitchen goes out into the conservatory. It is open plan, hence adding radiators out there. Currently, all the downstairs plumbing is in 15mm. No 22mm at all.

    15mm to 22mm?

No just the 2 rads in the conservatory which the furthest one is about 7 metres up the far end from the 15mm pipe. So change to 22mm or just use 15mm?

    15mm to 22mm?

So branching off the 15mm up to 22mm for 2 rads will be ok to do?

    15mm to 22mm?

These are the pipes coming from upstairs and feeding 5 rads on the ground floor. I will be changing the location of the current rads, 3 around the same area, but 2 are going out in the conservatory and will spam over a distance of approximately 8 metres. My question is can l tee off the...

    WASTE PIPE TO TOILET

I realise that and not sure how l gave the impression l thought l could just join the toilet to the pipe. I just didn't know how to branch off properly so l appreciate the link you put in, thank you. What are the blanked off smaller branches for, other pipe? Do you think l need to get the...

    WASTE PIPE TO TOILET

I've done a drawing of how l need it. As you can see from the picture, there is a waste for the sink in its current position, but it will be moved to the other side of the wall and since l will be able to go through a stud wall (not built as yet) l want to run both toilet and new sink position...

    WASTE PIPE TO TOILET

I have good access to the soil pipe due to removing a wall for renovations. I will be fitting a toilet only about 2 feet away from it. It's on the ground floor. As you look at the picture, l need to add a pipe from the stack coming out about 16" then turning right through the opening to the...

    PIPES UNDER FLOOR

Ok so should l wrap them in lagging or lay them on top of the insulation? There is a 15mm pipe which supplies the outside garden tap and that's just been laid over the slab. Touch wood never had issues with it freezing.

    PIPES UNDER FLOOR

There is insulation under there. I just pulled it back for the picture.

    PIPES UNDER FLOOR

Why is that a bad idea? For ease of installation and don't want pipe showing above the floor. Well, that hasn't happened in 10 years.

    DECENT FIXINGS TO HANG RADS

Going to be hanging a couple of radiators in the conservatory and l wondered if anyone can recommend decent wall plugs for a solid fixing. The surface is 12.5mm plasterboard dot and dabbed onto breeze block then skimmed. The rads are 300 x 1190 doubles with the brackets being the half circle...

    PIPES UNDER FLOOR

I'm going to be running 22mm speedfit pipes to radiators over a distance of around 8 metres. Since there is plenty of room underneath the joists, am l ok to just lay the pipe flat on the concrete base or do l still need to wrap it in something?

    NEW RADS & PIPEWORK PLAN

I'm doing a reconfiguration downstairs and will be looking to put new radiators in to add a couple more but to replace the existing ones too. The existing rads have all the pipework laid in the concrete floor currently. The only new rad pipework that can be above the floor is the rad at the...

    Where to cut pipes?

No, it's not disused pipework, pipes go under the concrete floor to two radiators. The 22mm pipe coming down from above is the return and the 15mm is the flow. There is a 3rd pipe in 15mm too which is tied into the 22mm pipe, then15mm again to the radiator. Does this look normal and can the...

    Where to cut pipes?

Yes l will insulate the pipes. Currently downstairs it feeds 4 rads, but l will be needing to feed 7 due to a kitchen conversion into the conservatory. Should my main runs be 22mm and tee of 15mm to each rad? The trouble l have is 2 rads definitely have to have pipework run in the concrete...

    Where to cut pipes?

I'm not sure actually but it's tied into the return pipe. Currently the pipework runs under a concrete floor to a rad opposite and off to another rad. I want to run pipework along the wall to the the left of the existing pipes to a new rad, but also want another couple of rads tied in as well.

    Where to cut pipes?

These are the flow and return pipes that come down from upstairs and currently supply 3 radiators. I'm looking to reposition rads and will need to feed off of these. Where is the best place to cut them and tee off or doesn't it matter? I ask because l wasn't sure if the blanked off 22mm...
