    I think because we have been built into a hill, so garden level is 1st floor, there would been no room for windows etc so they could not class it as a habitable space, but it was Barratts, so cheaper to have the void than get creative I guess.

    The other side is a large Void, which we don't have any access too. It's a town house and the void is under the Kitchen and Dinning room which are on the 1st floor.

    Thanks, yes i have seen them and was planning on using them, so would you just Add the strong boys one course above the lintel height and cut the lintel and door way through both skins first, then add in the lintels each side? Thats the bit I am struggling with. I'll add Cavity closers...

    Success! Came out just like you said, thank you! And as i thought the pipe was completely disconnected because it was not secured on just pushed on with no sealant. also, they used a 3 meter hose for 12" of travel that was needed lol, bloody Barratt's!

    Hmm, that’s odd, I did that and change the 0 to 1 at the end of the url, that’s what I have always done for the images to show as link comes from my Dropbox. I can see the images on my phone and browser. Maybe I can add as an attachment as a pdf?
