The company came and had a look, they suggested spacer bars could be fitted to close the gap but it wasn’t big enough. We’d asked them not to fit the trims internally as we’re getting the room plastered so hopefully we’ll be able to close the gap internally with plaster.

Thank you both, now sorted and working properly. The green/yellow sleeved wire only ran into the FCU next to it where it was connected to a grey wire, I’ve swapped it out for a brown wire now. Thanks for your help.
