    Electric shower internal leak

Not certain ,but pretty sure they can separate and O ring seal makes watertight joint between them.

Leaky plastic connectors (threads, not pushfit) on water filter

How many turns of PTFE are you wrapping around the threads, you may need more.

How to use use in-built Filling Loop/Glowworm 30C

It is the 2 blue lever handles ,turn both 1/4 turn until desired pressure is reached, then turn both back to original positions. Does not matter which is first or last .

Pictures of the pipework and valves below the boiler would be useful

Removal of radiator no bleed valve

If you close both radiator valves the radiator can be drained by loosening the joint/s where the valve connects to the radiator. A receptacle will be needed to contain the water. As others have advised ,the drain cock below the TRV will drain the system ,and not what you want.

Downstairs radiators cold after changing upstairs ones

I suspect either way will work, although I tape first.

Downstairs radiators cold after changing upstairs ones

PTFE tape and a smear of LSX if you have any.

    Repressurise Logic Combi+ 24 - SOLVED

The blue one isolates the cold water flow into the boiler ( for domestic hot water),the other isolates the boiler from central heating system. As both heating and domestic hot water are both functioning as they should those 2 valves are open.

    Repressurise Logic Combi+ 24 - SOLVED

Either your mains cold water pressure is no greater than the gauge shows ,or one of the filling loop valves isn't opening

    Repressurise Logic Combi+ 24 - SOLVED

They are now both in open position. What's the boiler pressure at ? It's possible that the handle is not turning the shaft below on one of them.

    Repressurise Logic Combi+ 24 - SOLVED

You are correct ,the blue and black handles are used to top up pressure. They are both in closed position in your pic . Open both and tell us what the pressure gauge reads . If pressure doesn't increase one of the valves isn't working, (remains closed).

Balancing radiators with trv and normal valve - possible?

Did that take 6 years to arrive !!! The TRV would be set to fully open on all rads when balancing the system. The lock shield valve is used to balance the system. It doesn't really matter if TRV is on the flow or return pipework as it's almost certain to be bidirectional. Check the body of the...

How to fit a new shower bar valve with G 1/2" behind

Other than fitting a coupler to convert 1/2 to 3/4 male ,(which would very likely result in the new shower valve sitting too far away from the wall for the chrome shrouds to cover the fitting and reach the wall), you should try to find shower valves that need 1/2 feeds. What is the distance...

How to fit a new shower bar valve with G 1/2" behind

Ok, not 3/4 then . Any access behind the wall to alter pipework?

How to fit a new shower bar valve with G 1/2" behind

The picture may be deceiving ,but the threads look more like 3/4 BSP ,and not 1/2 inch. What is their outer diameter ?

    Heating but no DHW

Was the water in the cylinder already hot when you started the call for DHW ,so the boiler and pump only needed to top up for 7 mins ?
  18. T

    Heating but no DHW

The disadvantage of the system being manually latched open ,is there would be no independent control between heating and DHW. They would both be either on or off.
  19. T

    Heating but no DHW

Latching a motorised valve into manual allows water to flow to both heating and domestic hot water cylinder on a Y plan set up. Show us a picture of the valve.

    Boiler pressure problem

Your EV ( expansion vessel) probably needs attention. If pressure does happen to rise above 3 bar ,the PRV ( Pressure relief valve) Would open and expel some water out of the system to reduce pressure, via an open ended pipe routed to outside. It's fine to continue to use the heating for a few...
