    Great, the other option I guess would be remove the old lath and plaster off and then reboard so it runs into the wood but I think youre saying that the stop bead would do the same thing?

    Hi cheers for the reply, it's solvent weld but I haven't glued it yet as was waiting for some advice , just to clarify are you saying bring it out as it is or straighten it, all the joints would be inaccessible so not sure if I'm better leaving it and just taking a Flexi pan connector straight in ?

    To be fair I don't I'm just presuming it's not because the fittings are copper. It was installed about 15 years ago when we moved in and had the new bathroom fitted. I can't see any writing on the exposed pipes.
