Waste drain outdoors - what are my opions?

You can't polish a turd as they say, but this is how it went......

    Replace Lump Hammer Shaft.

A mate of mine has a prince albert, says it causes it to spray everywhere rather than in a straight line!

    Replace Lump Hammer Shaft.

I remember those days of struggling to get my shaft in.

    Festool Extractor

That is what I'd be looking at, the Festool extractor and the Festool sander. Expensive, yes but as I say, worth every penny if they actually work like they say they do.

    Festool Extractor

I don't mind spending the money, if it really is as good as the videos show, that you can sand the walls of a room flat and not have a dust cloud!

    Festool Extractor

Are these Festool Extractors and their sanders really as good as they claim? I've seen videos (from Festool) of someone sanding walls and ceilings with no dust fallout what so ever. I've tried regular sanders with a vac and it was next to useless, so is the Festool the way to go?

Waste drain outdoors - what are my opions?

No that's a fence post to the left. The rainwater goes into soakaway.

Waste drain outdoors - what are my opions?

Hi all. Yes it is discharging into a proper drain. I wasn't sure whether to try and take the pipe down past the grate like suggested, or build up some kind of brick/concrete drain. Maybe just keep it simple and send the pipe through the grate as suggested.

Waste drain outdoors - what are my opions?

Hi, wondering what my options are here to tidy this up? Some kind of sealed way of doing it or maybe some kind of gulley? Thanks for looking.

    Large pipe clamps

On Page 1, Post 5, I did state the OD, which is why regular mast coupler clamps would not work.

    Large pipe clamps

They didn't charge any extra to make them the size I wanted as they make them to order anyway.

    Large pipe clamps

Here we are :giggle: Thanks for the link to BPC Engineering, they happily custom made some (y)

    Large pipe clamps

Yes it was your link to Britishpipeclamps which I noticed they do an ideal clamp, just not in the size. Interestingly the skip the size I want and go much bigger. But I'll see what they say at least.

    Large pipe clamps

Well, I believe we already went through that suggestion earlier in the thread. Thanks for suggestions though. I've got one other line of enquiry pending from another suggestion on page 1 of the thread, a company which makes what they supply, they might be able to do something.

    Large pipe clamps

They don't do them in the required size.

    Large pipe clamps

The side load needs to be in the centre, not to one side, so that won't work.

    Large pipe clamps

I've got some photos now of the tripod with mast attached. The photos will show why the clamps need to be pretty much the same type as shown. There isn't the width for U clamps or anything else really. So long as the welds on those clips don't break, fine, but if they do, then we're in big trouble!

    Large pipe clamps

Well, I understand what you're saying, but I thought it was simple enough by showing the clamp I have and saying, it needs to look like that, with one central fixing point. As the ones I have, the only issue is the socket is welded on and the thread isn't deep enough. So by 4mm deep, what I...

    Large pipe clamps

Yeah good quality stuff, as you say, very expensive! I've emailed the company which does the universal clamps to see if they do anything bigger than what they list. We'll see, there'll be a way around what we currently have.
