Ideal ICOS HE12, No CH but have HW

Its a Danfoss PBV. I shall check the valve lever later on, I know that at the moment it is set to Auto, but there is a Manual option. If there is play, what should I do?

Ideal ICOS HE12, No CH but have HW

Reset it, reprogrammed. Nothing. If its a physical problem then I will get someone out as the heating system should be under warrenty as its under 12 months old. I was hoping that it would be something simple as it was working fine before the power tripping out

Ideal ICOS HE12, No CH but have HW

The external source would be the programmer and thermostat? Yes? I have requested CH only from the programmer, and I the thermostat on the wall and on radiators are all set to high

Ideal ICOS HE12, No CH but have HW

That picture was just an example pulled off Ideal's website. Mine doesn't display 'd' Mine does display C normally when HW or CH is called upon. But at present, if Heat is requested from the programmer 'O' is being displayed

Ideal ICOS HE12, No CH but have HW

The boiler has now reverted to the 'O' setting on CH only. I think, that as far as the boiler is concerned there is no demand for CH by the programmer or thermostat. Would that be right? If so, how do I let it know that there is demand?

Ideal ICOS HE12, No CH but have HW

I have set it to CH only on the programmer. The boiler is displaying 'C' but the LED is not on and no noise from the boiler

Ideal ICOS HE12, No CH but have HW

By turning the taps on. This fires up the boiler. The seperate programmer for the boiler can be programmed to switch the boiler to HW and CH Which digital readout are you referring to? The only one on the boiler is the one displaying 'C'. It has now reverted back to the flashing LED and...

Ideal ICOS HE12, No CH but have HW

I'm not sure if its wireless. As in, I don't know if its linked into the boiler, but there is a seperate unit to the boiler All I could tell you is that its a Danfoss, and that the system is fairly new, >12 months. I've just tried the Reset button and so far, so good. I did try the...

Ideal ICOS HE12, No CH but have HW

Its definitely an ICOS, unless it has an incorrect front panel on it. It isn't displaying an error code, its just a 'C' with a flashing LED like it has when its igniting, but there is no noise from the boiler unless I demand Hot Water from it. Or if there is no demand at all, it displays...

Ideal ICOS HE12, No CH but have HW

Where else is system could it be? The radiators were functioning fine before the power tripped out (this maybe completely unrelated, I realise) They have individual thermostats, so I understand one could fail, but not all of them.

Ideal ICOS HE12, No CH but have HW

No, it seems to be functioning correctly and there is no water residue. I have examined it closely and there seems no water at all

Ideal ICOS HE12, No CH but have HW

After the electric tripping out in the week the boiler doesn't stay ignited for the CH at all. It starts the ignition sequence, ignites for 30 seconds and then displays the code that there is no demand for CH. The HW is fine, I have bled the system, which didn't help. Also, it doesn't...
