guys thanks, i used some white emulsion over the filler when I was painting the ceiling, applied two coats of emulsion on the walls and the filler isn't visible.

Decided to spray paint some black plastic picture frames in the house gold, the finish is terrible so I'm hoping I can strip the paint off and maybe try another brand of paint as I have sprayed other frames and items they look ok.

Its dry from this morning, so give it a coat of the old colour with a roller for smooth walls , i mixed the paint with a wooden spatula?

John D the paint was very watery, so would i be ok using the white matt emulsion im going to be using on the ceiling and apply it with a roller? or is there a better way for a perfect finish? Yes the rest of the wall was painted with a roller.

Im getting the hall stairs and landing ready for painting, so yesterday i filled in any dents cracks etc on the wall, let the filler dry overnight and this morning sanded down the filler until it was totally blended into the surrounding area and painted over the filler with the original paint...

There are only two tails, the bit on the tail that goes into the valve the non thread side one is about 4mm longer that the other one, not sure if this is normal or when it was originally fitted the plumber cut it.

Had to get the radiator power coated as the paint on it was starting to peel off, I forgot to take the Chrome valve parts that screws into the radiator off, I just got it back and and the guy powder coated everything, I tried to remove the powder coating with paint stripper but it have taken...

Called into our local paint store for some water based undercoat in white, but all he has is primer undercoat, will this do ok or is there a difference?

i had one small flouresent light in our attic which didnt give much light so i removed a larger one from the shed and installed it in the attic but it wont light up now, it was working ok before i removed it from the shed, there is power going to it so do i need a new starter of tube?

We have just got some new PVC and composite external doors and i would like to put something non destructive onto the doors to stop our small dog scratching them when he is looking back into the house, anyone here recommend anything? TIA

I was looking maybe a glue to repair it, its just the tape that has split on the outside edge.
