Could be wrong but i think this boiler has a filter in the return valve which will probably need taking out and cleaning, usually does the job!

I would guess that boiler has not been fitted with the correct service and repair clearances otherwise i would have thought there would be enough distance below.

You need it to be on the 22 return to the boiler otherwise dont bother!

If the diverter valve is ok it could well be the Hot water thermister and if i remember rightly it is in a wet pocket.

It may well just need the vessel recharging but you would have thought they would have checked.

No its not dangerous. There will be instructios in the manual to relight the pilot otherwise get a rgi out tomorrow the thermocouple may need replacing!

Sounds like you want to blame "the guy" I am sure he would not have left a problem on purpose to come back in his own time and not gat paid! There's plenty out there who would not have returned. What are the reasons for you not having it serviced are you saving up for a new boiler :shock:

I had one of these to repair a while ago and it was the gas valve solenoid breaking down so it would be better to get a RGI in to have a more detailed look as namsag has suggested!

Sounds like the only thing apart from the air pressure switch and psb have been changed so why dont you check the position of the air pressure switch?
