    well, it said douple pole fused spur, so i bought one with a switch so i could turn the fan off if the timer function wasnt needed at times like the middle of the night when the wife goes for a pee about 20 times

    it has been checked already. It does occasionally try and ignite a few times a second as it should, but not very often.

    Hi, i have a potterton housewarmer 45. I have just had it rewired and a new programmer in. The problem i have now is that the ignition is really slow. It used to try and ignite a few times a second, now, it tries about once a second until it eventually locks out if it doesn't ignite. Any ideas?

    I got a corgi registered gas engineer in to change all components, and an electrician to check wiring. I have the installation booklet and it doesnt say anything about a motorised valve on the back boiler.

    sorry, forgot to mention, also had pump changed. It keeos igniting when clock is off, then locking out ( i presume when it gets to temperature)
