hi noseall to be a bit clearer i need to ventilate the roof from the top to the bottom inbetween the insulation and the tiles ,,as its a lean too and cathedral style im a bit unclear how to achive the ventilation at the top were the lead is chased into the wall

thanks woody that what im after ,,, also as im using redland regents which have a deep profile is it a case of sealing with sand and cement or is there a better way?

thanks woody the reason i ask is that if you do somthing on a regular basis you dont always have to follow the rules there are things you can get away with ,, and others you can not,, the MOT is outside uncovered on the floor and seems soilid,,,

i have just put 150mm of MOT down for my new solid floor it feels realy soilid is it important to wack it as im concerned of any old drain which lay below is wacking that important

just a quick update,,, i ended up with an hydrolic braker from the hire shop,, it managed to get the job done but was hard work as towards the end it was 18 inch thick,,, and seemed to range between 10 to 12 inch,, so job done and thanks again
