    Hi Any ideas please, the burner cuts out after a few seconds then when you reset it, it fires ok? It has been serviced, new nozzle, smoke no:0-1, pump pressure to spec. Thanks Brian

    It could be leaking from the base of the syphon? I always use silicon sealant on all the washers it is not worth the time and effort putting them together without and then finding out they leak.

    A combimate is not electronic it in my opinion is a very good choice, you can use it to either just serve your boiler or have it on the rising main to serve the whole house. I think the medium used in the combimate cost about £20.00 and lasts about 6 months as an average.

    I presume you have gathered by now that a lock out is caused by any problem and unless you can isolate and test each component or possible fault you are not going to be able to fix it.

    Thanks for you help again By what I can gather as there is already a pump on the system and its working ok I should be fine, if the pump was on the return or there was no pump at all then it can become a problem. Oh well here it goes sink or swim I can always change it back
