    Is it true that you can do gas work without being corgi registered as long as it is done for free? Surely if this was the case then anybody could do a plumbing job that requires gas work amongst other things( E.G Fitting a central heating system). And just show in the bill that they did the gas...

    Is it possible for me to build my own extension, Without getting planning permission and building control involved. I know that this may be a stupid question, but it seems to me it is my house, And i should be able to do what i like to it.

    You can indeed connect two cables to one aerial. if you look in maplin or rs you can buy a y splitter and the cable ends for coppers.

    Why not just fit some shrouded terminals to it and use as test points for your multi meter :lol:

    Boiler Ravenheat White Star 29T Flushed system out first CH is set to winter mode about 3/4 Oops (I did'nt know) What the hell dose this mean Ditto Ditto Have not touched rad valves so will it not still be balanced from old system.

    Yes. The rads get hot very quickly every time i turn the heating on. But then cool down after a while and just sit at luke warm. If i turn the heating off and leave it for a bit and turn it back on again the rads get red hot again but then cool down.

    I have just recently installed a combi. and when i first turn the heating on the radiators get very hot (you cant touch them) but after a while they cool down and just sit at a luke warm temperature. The stat is calling for heat and the heating is switched on. I connected my combi to old system...
