Drilling into the rear top corners of fan. When you open the tail gate looking inside van, the top corners which face inwards. I'm sure it'll be fine. Brush some rust inhibitor on the edges of the hole then pop riv in and tighten up. That should seal it. I read some where squirt some oil between...

    Rivnuts drilled hole protection

I am not sure if I'm posting this question in the correct category. I've drilled 4 11mm holes for 4 M8 Rivnuts into the top inside rear corners of my VW transporter t6.1 to hold speaker pods. My concern is the bare metal left by the drill bit. I placed masking tape around and on the drill...

I think I might leave it. It's prepped, ready for paint. I'll leave it until we have a dry period and if we have viewers then I'll explain and leave paint for them if they choise to buy. It looks better than before. I don't think the fact the pipe is asbestos will put them off. It's ready for...

    Painting Asbestos soil pipe

I appreciate your response. Are you 100% on this type of paint? It's not cheap. How many litres do you think I need for 2 coats? I don't want to paint it and then it doesn't adhere to it then flakes off within months.

    Vinyl floor stain remover?

No. Would that dissolve the yellow? It's probably nicotine that's seeped through rug to flooring.

    Vinyl floor stain remover?

Seriously? Yuck!! Bungalow was built in 1947. I'll just freshen wall and skirting board and leave the flooring on uncovered. It took me 8 hours to clean the inside (pvc, windows, ceiling and flooring). So it's at least clean. Hiding the stain will just be obvious and deceptive. What else would I...
