    T&G is the best locking system imo. No creaking which you can get with some click woods. You need to glue each side and use ratchet clamps to hold it all together while the glue sets. Get a good underlay. We use Timbermate excel.

    You can prime with just water which will help minimise pin holes. Or use rapid repair / feather finish before the Dpm. On the walls if the skirts are off we do 10mm onto the bricks but no higher.     It will be ok. Just needs to be thicker on the pin holes. It’s because you can’t prime it properly when doing the 1st coat.

    Wouldn’t go with that underlay. I’d use Treadaire Ambiance or Chromium both 9mm and high quality.

    We keep it in the shade , black out the windows and never had a problem. Most of the time we fit LVT so can’t have direct sunlight on it while fitting it.

    No it doesn’t as that weakens it and you get a soft finish. Most bags will have a the max and min of water to go on. 4.5ltr - 4.75ltr. Never go above that.

    Should have used primer. Should have mixed it quickly. Someone mix and keep them coming and one putting it down. Never heard of that compound so can’t comment if it’s any good. The best wet edge compound is ardex k40 flow

    It prob won’t have one and even if it did it would be perished now. So yes a Dpm sandwich will sort it out. Give the floor a scape with a blade scraper 1st. Then na straight to it.

    For me all we use is sp101 if going over with adhesive or a screeding compound EN 314-2 class 3 Exterior.
