    hi, thanks for the reply but what do you mean by "rag" them out ? do you mean if i try to take 1 or 2 those bars off..ie remove them to slide a panel out they will snap/break ?..sorry to ask but have no idea what "rag" means...thanks

    thanks guys for all the replies...although some say yep ok...others say no...i am erring on the edge of caution & play 100% safe and not plug in the oven.. and the wife can use the microwave & daughters mini oven...but many thanks anyway...at least i know now it was not just a case of plug it in...

    many thanks...will definately NOT plug it in now...will also use the microwave & borrow mini oven from daughter...once again thank you ( mind you....the wife probably wont thank you for saving me from being blown up !!! :lol:

    hi matty, thanks for the reply...i to firmly believe that the expansion gaps were not adequate...especially around the marble fireplace...there is NO gap there at all...i will take you up on your offer of the report if i need it thank you...i cannot see on here where to send you my email address...
