ok i took off the cover and checked the wires were all tight and took a picture and when i turned it all back on the power is back on upstairs now

the mcb is a series e b32 , how do i tell if the wiring is ring or radial

no the rcd hasnt tripped all the lights are still working upstairs and down and so is the downstairs power

This evening the power upstairs just went off i come down stairs and the mcb was still up so i tried turning it off and back on but nothing happened anyone have any ideas what could be wrong

i checked the oil level on my vauxhall astra today and it was a bit low so i went to top it up and when i removed the cap the underside of the cap was covered in something looking like mayo and so was the top part where you fill with oil i know this can generally be a sign of a head gasket fault...

if its not overheating should make another 3 months even if it overheats you can rewire the fan so it stays on permantly

didnt say anything but from what i found on the web its 1.8kw for the main oven and 1.5kw for the grill

not sure the mcb has just been replaced so hoping it will be ok how do i find out what rating the cooker is

the cooker tripped out the mcb again today and the rcd well that proves it wasnt fixed i was charged £40 for the mcb to be replaced is that cheap

i have been told one of those periodic inspection reports costs around £300

yeh but thats what i was told lol i think the mcb broke when i kept trying to reset it and the cable is still broken so if anyone could tell me around how much it would cost for me to get the cable replaced and what the best option would be other than ripping up my laminate flooring thanks in...

the faults it had when they returned it to you are common with head gasket faults so they probably hadnt fixed it properly if its running fine now just keep an eye on the temperature gauge and check the oil to see if it has a creamy look to it and check their is no oil in the water
