This evening the power upstairs just went off i come down stairs and the mcb was still up so i tried turning it off and back on but nothing happened anyone have any ideas what could be wrong
i checked the oil level on my vauxhall astra today and it was a bit low so i went to top it up and when i removed the cap the underside of the cap was covered in something looking like mayo and so was the top part where you fill with oil i know this can generally be a sign of a head gasket fault...

yeh but thats what i was told lol i think the mcb broke when i kept trying to reset it and the cable is still broken so if anyone could tell me around how much it would cost for me to get the cable replaced and what the best option would be other than ripping up my laminate flooring thanks in...
the faults it had when they returned it to you are common with head gasket faults so they probably hadnt fixed it properly if its running fine now just keep an eye on the temperature gauge and check the oil to see if it has a creamy look to it and check their is no oil in the water
