    Thanks for the reply Secureiam. The DVR is online for HIK Connect because I can view all of the existing camera's with no issues. Does the new camera need certain configuration on the DVR to somehow enable it or make it visible on the HIK Connect app?

    #1 is set to On because the panel lid is off. All the rest are to set to an Off position. I've tried unplugging the com unit from the main panel and programming again but same fault occurs. This is really frustrating now but appreciate the help from you guys. Thanks

    I don't think it's a problem with the SIM card as it was working on Tuesday and I could get status reports. There is no phone line attached to the alarm, it is GSM only.
