    fixing to steel box lintel

    I need to attach a wall plate directly to the upper surface of a steel box lintel .There is a patio window beneath with no pillars either side so I cant use straps .Any Ideas on the best way to do this .

    Diguising supporting beam in external wall

    I am about to fit sliding doors to the rear of a property and the wall above the opening is to be supported by a steel box beam ( the opening is 4.85metres wide) My question is what is the best way to finish / disguise this beam so that when viewed externally it looks ok .
