Any comments on extractor fans and lights in the shower enclosure

:? Am returning to part time work ( am mother of 3! + so am a full time taxi as well!) Have just passed my Part P but am a bit shocked by the cost of registering £400 plus. Ill have to do awlful lot of 'little jobs' before i make a penny! Help
