    Wood block flooring

    The block flooring I am considering has fairly even coating of bitumen, the t&g is very clean, The coating is fairly pliable. Do I really have to scrape it off or can I lay as is and if so would using bitumen be best. I have read on earlier post of bonding success between bitumen and wood glues...
