    shower tray

    I am fitting a new shower tray i my new bathroom .It will be tiled on the walls and floor .The new tray stands on plastic feet i am worried about the tray flexing then leaking down between the tray and the tiles.Would it be possible to bed this tray on morter or tile cement ? :roll:

    The 22mm circulating pipes on my 30kw worchester boiler run from my garage through the loft of my bungalow for 12m down the kitchen wall for 3m then under the floor back towards the boiler for 8 m and end up just 4 m from the boiler .     I have a 1957 Bungalow the walls between the bedrooms and the garage are single brick which make the bedrooms cold .Can anybody suguest the best method to inprove the insulation on these walls. ie kingspan on the garage side

    purlins

    I am about to do a loft conversion the inner purlins are not the same distance from the ridge and one is lower than the other this will cause a problem with head height .The purlins are also in three sections each one about 12 feet in length and propped on the joints.I would like to change them...
