If i run a cable from upstair landing light into a new light and then take a feed to a switch will this work, or will the power for the new light be controlled from the switch from the original light scource.The light in question is not a ceiling rose it is a 3 spot light type.if it wont work...

Hi all looking to install a new bathroom in an old glasgow tenement building that has old lead pipes. what is best way to fit in new plastic piping,i think the plastic connectors can only be used on plastic & copper.Any advice would be gratefull.
