    I want to install 4 spotlights (IP65 rated) in my bathroom. They have the piano key connectors. Is 1mm cable sufficient or should l use 1.5mm? I've read 1.5mm can be a bit tight in these terminals.

    I am fitting PIR insulation between ceiling joists. My question is should the face be flush with the joists so the plasterboard is touching it or do l need to leave a gap between the pir and plasterboard?

    I want to construct a slanted ceiling, but apart from the birds mouth joint onto the higher wall plate, what is the best way to attach to the lower plate? Is it another birdsmouth or just cut the angle and fix. It will be plasterboarded. Thanks
