    I've been asked by a friend what would be the best timber to replace an existing jetty on a riverbank? At present the "posts" are sound but the decking needs replacing. He's considered the decking sold at the sheds but want a more indivdual touch. Any ideas on wood types and preservative etc...

    Curved mouldings

    Has anyone ever made curved moulding using a routertable and jig? I used to be able to do them on a spindle moulder but with not having access to one anymore :( I have been toying with using the router and table. Its the same priciple surely? Thoughts anyone?
