    Rain seeping through single brick wall

    Hello. I finished building a single thickness brick wall a couple of weeks ago when it was dry. One side is exposed to the rain, the other is covered and dry, but rain seems to be getting through from the wet side to the dry side? Any idea what this could be and how I can stop it please?

    Outside pipe insulation

    Hi all. I have a 3 foot run of plastic 22mm pipe which runs outside the house. I need to protect it from the frost, but the conventional DIY store insulation looks like it'll soak up the rain and freeze itself. Is it OK to use the standard stuff or is there something more suitable?
