    Composite expansion gaps

    Hi all I installed a 9m x 6m composite decking in my garden. When I installed 18 months ago the expansion gaps were 3mm and perfect. Now they are all uneven (see pic). What should i do to fix this to ensure it doesn't happen again? Any help would be appreciated! :)

    Cut new hatches in my chipboard floor joist question

    So i had to cut a few hatches in my tongue and groove chipboard flooring, for my new kitchen for plumbers and electricians to get access. However when avoiding the nails there are some that dont rest on the joist. Is it ok to "daughter" the joist to support the new hatches? TIA

    How to stop bushes, weeds and scrubs poking through fence

    Not using red oxide primer on RSJ

    Builder has put up RSJ and said he will do the red oxide primer when its up. I am sure he would have needed to have done this BEFORE the RSJ goes up. What happens if its not primed at all (I am sure he wont prime it)

    RSJ and padstone overlap

    Can someone confirm what the overlap should be on the padstone for the RSJ. The length of the padstone is 425mm and the length of the Opening is 2522mm. However my builder is just fitting a RSJ length of 2815mm. Is his enough for the overlap. Don't trust the builder (long story!)
