Terminal C would not have been used on the R6660D receiver, nor would it have been a neutral( should of been sleeved). Terminal A would have been used in order to switch voltage through B.

You do slip up from time to time which proves google is not always your friend.;) You should have known when looking at the photo that the system is fully pumped and obviously not to be taken at face value. You give sound advice with regards to the wiring procedure for a simple nest...

I do hope so as this is what I do for a living day in and day out.;) Quite simple really. Terminal 1 of time clock supplies voltage to boiler/pump/grey and orange MV. Terminal 2 of time clock supplies voltage to brown wire of MV (MV motor). Live and common are linked together at time clock.

The HW and CH are fully pumped to which is obvious when looking at the photo.

An additional two port motorised valve should be fitted to the Primary flow to cylinder along with a cylinder stat. The system will then be upgraded to an ‘S’ plan.

The motorised valve must also be installed in a position so as to leave an unrestricted path for the open safety vent.

The system you have is fully pumped. The ‘C’ plan uses gravity fed primaries (HW) with pumped heating.

Certainly not a ‘C’ plan looking @ those photos.
