i have worcester 28 i boiler and when i put central heating on it works fine after a few hours we turn it off and pressure drops and goes out overflow pipe so when we need hot water i have to top system up

i had to change my prv and found that my expansion vessel had gone ,can i fit a new one on either flow/return pipe,or is there anything else that needs fitting, my boiler is a worcester 24 i

my boiler keeps going to 3.5 bar when i run the heating and even when its been off all night the pressure is still reading 3 bar plus ,the filling loop is not connected does anyone know why this is happening thanks

does anyone know what angle the 15mm hot supply feed to the top of the cylinder should be to prevent airlocks,i am replacing a 2 foot cylinder to a newer version ,i know i can tee into the 22mm vent pipe but at what height above the cylinder do i tee off its a direct system no boiler or heating...

when i turn the hot tap on to run a bath one of the radioators gets pretty hot do i need a new diverter valve ,i have changed the diaphram but its made no difference thanks

could be the diverter valve just changed one and been on this forum for help myself ,inside the boiler on the left is the diverter valve see if when you put the hot tap on the pin in the valve touches the microswitch its on a plastic see through connector ,im no expert but it might help if u...

didnt think it get read if i posted it again inthe same area ,ideal have also said they will fix it for £240 inc parts and labour does that seem reasonable to you

sorry this is getting on my nerves got in touch with ideal tech team and they say the boiler is locking out because of an air lock ,if this is the case how did the boiler run for a while then lock out the next day

yes the red light comes on it did stay on yesterday for a while but today nothing ,do you think if water got onto the pcb this could cause it to happen and sorry when it did fire up heating and hot water was fine

the fault was the hot water would come on then go cold or go off altogether
