most ASHP's won't work in poor insulated homes but in a hybrid scenario can save lot's of £'s working alongside an oil/LPG setup.
at the moment Gas vs ASHP is a no brainer gas win's on price but against LPG/oil then ASHP's or hybrid's is the way...
61/4 compatible with the latest control's ( and previous) 61/1 compatible with controls at the time.
no major differences just their update to work with latest ranges (and previous!)

Basic possibly,
do you need to lay underlay on to a timber shed roof before putting felt on, or is it ok just to nail felt direct to roof if using a good quality felt?
also any recomendations on felt to use?
Would never walk away, cylinder is valuable as is the copper pipes. Most other stuff it cost's to dispose of. If my customer asks to keep the valuable stuff then that is their prerogative ! BUT they also keep and dispose of the non valuable stuff as it is expensive to trade customers to empty...

for the OP i would get in...
very much doubt you would have got exhaust gas, but the boiler could have been drawing vitiated air causing poor burner performance, the inner flue has a lot of play and would have been sealed in that first picture but the second looks better even though the flue still is not secured properly...
