    Dipping toe into painting

I did a spray with a 50ltr 2hp and is was a struggle, the pressure gets below the regulator set-point and the spray drops off. It's possible with a low power one, but not that small. Also, the CFM ratings are always over-rated. I also did 1pack, the result was "fine" but that's all. The...

    UFH Pump and Manifold

I have an emmeti installed. It's been there for 7 years and still functioning okay. I don't know whether it's the best brand, but it's not "unbranded" so that's something. The auto vents are rubbish though, they leak - so I've replaced them with a short length of copper pipe with a manual vent...

    Thermal imaging cameras

I have a CAT phone that does the FLIR job nicely. There are other cheaper Chinese branded phones with FLIR too - but don't buy one of these if you intend to use it as an actual phone (they leak private data to the CCP) Nozzle

Weird braking problem that solved itself…

Shouldn't that brake pad, thin though it is, actually have shined/flat surface as it's in contact with the disc. The fact it's NOT shined/flat indicates it's not in contact with the disc. Same as the one in the far-ground of the image Nozzle

Revolting beaten copper cooker hood….could it be painted?

Yup. De-grease spray Primer spray top-coat WHen it comes to scrapping the kitchen though, this piece of copper has value at the scrappy. You might then regret having painted it.

Bank of England How Money is created

Most people are familiar that an auction price starts low to attract more bidders, it climbs as high as it needs.

Bank of England How Money is created

An auction is the 'ultimate' market. The price is determined by demand and supply is obviously limited. - "it's only worth what someone will pay for it". It could easily have sold for £300 or £250 as opposed to your example of £500. Here, the "price" and the "value" are the same. Sell it again...
