    Is this Loft flooring okay?

Agreed with the loft guys I wanted floor separated from the ceiling, and I also questioned the used of 4x2 when they came as I want the loft as a kind of light use cardio gym, rower, bike etc, not jumping around on a treadmill. So this is what they’ve done. Cross braced our 3x2 ceiling joists...

    Ferroli Optimax 25C- F26 & F3 error

The boiler has thrown up F26 for a few years now, a simple reset & top up usually sorts it out, except now, after a long summer, it is being stubborn, and also showing up F03. We DO have hot water WE DON'T have heating Am I right in thinking the diverter value is knackered? I can source one...

Replacing old 2 wire dial thermo for WIfi enabled

Hi, we want to change our old thermo to enable us to control via Wi-Fi. Current one is an old analogue Honeywell with 2 wires, brown & blue. I see loads available on Amazon, but is there anything specific I’m looking for with just the 2 wires? Hopefully the pics are attached.

Core drilling a partially filled, existing 100mm hole, to a 150mm hole, through an outside wall.

There are 3 holes in a room I have, all at 100mm wide. Rather than cut a fresh hole at 150mm, I thought it would be best to expand 1 of the current holes, so as not to look a complete eyesore from the outside. On the inside, you would never know they were there, but on the outside, they still...

The dryer belt broke the other day. The mrs just unplugged it ready for me to fit the new one and she noticed the neutral on the extension, and the dryer plug has started to melt. Digging around the net I have learned you should not really be using an extension with a dryer. 2 questions I...
