    Painting door frames

    Are there any tips for painting door frames so as to avoid getting paint on the wooden threshold at the bottom? I've tried using masking tape in the past, but the paint seems to bleed, so when removing the tape, the edge where the frame meets the wood is not crisp. :( Any advice is welcome. :)
