    He could of quite easily tested if it was the flow switch before replacing the pump at your expense, like I said in my first post if you know the system is filling back up & the cold feeds not blocked, them flow switches are a magnet for ****e.

    If your certain the systems filling and the pumps ok, it's probably the flow switch which means giving your local RGI a call if it keeps faulting (I guess you've tried resetting)

    Wrong, you did disturb the combustion chamber seals as that casing forms the seal hence the need for safety checks to prove it's all satisfactory. No-one is questioning your ability to change a water part...they are a peice of p1ss aye, I think your missing the point.

    Start with basics...filling loop passing ? Is it external or internal ? Disconnect it. Is that 2nd picture heating on or off ? Is the prv (little copper pipe outside) discharging water ?
