    Does this fusebox have an RCD?

    If not, I understand it's recommended to upgrade with one, so my question is what would be the most practical installation to request from an electrician? A single RCD plug or a new fusebox? Is there anything else I should look for in selecting a new fusebox?

    Is this ceiling rose double insulated?

    I bought this ceiling rose off Amazon (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Modern-Antique-Brass-Ceiling-Lighting/dp/B00CJ9GE9Q): It's not like others I've seen as it has a black input sheath to a connection box, which also closes over the top. Does this mean it is double insulated? Thanks

    Ceiling rose with twin wire, no earth?

    I have a ceiling rose with a twin live / neutral wire and no earth. This is unexpected as the house was built in 1986 and the light switch does have an earth. Can I still use this with light fittings that are not double insulated?
