    Sorting out all my cleaning products

    Got lots of cleaning stuff for carpets, limescale etc etc. Three years of stuff thrown in cupboard. If I have two of the same stuff do in just pour down a drain then rinse and recycle? Tons of rags too

    Tying the ladder up

    Just checking my tying a ladder is OK. I found that in both cases the top slides a bit left to right. One is on a wall going onto roof and one on a tower

    Can't get a straight line even with masking tape

    Used this masking tape but still get bits coming through and it's not a straight line. What am I doing wrong? The line I am trying to cut in is in a groove. Anyway to improve what I've already done?

    Got paint on borrowed scaffold boards, should I sandvthem out?

    I personally wouldn't care and I didn't put a dust sheet up on them as I thought it might make surface slippier r but people are different. Some people get offended I guess. Should I sand it out and put a sheet over for rest of work? Using them at too of tower

    I need to put this tower together. The wheels have a thread, where do I screw them into? The bits of scaffold just seem to hollow bits. Any tips on assembling all this?

    Getting a nice clean cut on branches?

    Been cutting a gum tree down with saw on extension pole and bark seems to rip down the side. How do you get a nice clean cut? Separate question, is there any technique in cutting a tree or bringing the height down. I've just been cutting to a certain height.

    Cutting conifers over borders

    If I hedge cut this all the little conifer bits go on beds. How do I prevent this? With other plants I usually blow it onto grass then scoop up then mow. Conifers don't blow too well

    Getting a clothes line peg into ground?

    What's the best way to get this g into the ground? Sorry it's not a peg but a thing which pike goes into. It's going to hold a spinning washing line. Think the ground is stoney a few inches down. Lump hammer and wood?

    Taking out tiles to tie ladder to batons

    Is it relatively easy to take out the first tile on the roof so I can tie ladder to roof baton? A roofer friend said that's the safest thing u can do for a ladder.

    Fall arrest gear

    I heard there was something you can buy which hooks over the ridge of roof which you attach your harness too when on a ladder working but can't find one, anyone heard of this?

    Need to paint the fascias on this. Was going to try a ladder with standoff in the middle, possibly use scraper off pole. On the right the wood work is set back so best to use roofing ladder or but my ladder to vans wheel?

    Stopping kid play with electric window switch

    At the moment I've just got a piece of wood gaffer taped over the switch to stop three yr old playing with switch and throwing stuff out of window. He can pull tape off. Any better idea? I can control window myside
