What is the average one would expect to pay for a plumbers day rate these days?

Hi I have a job to do for someone after I have finished there will be no1 in the premises for around a day and half. Obviously finishing work and turning the water off after testing for leaks isn't really an option. Though I turn water off in voids if I ever work in one. Any thoughts on this?
