I want to get my utility company to do this... has anyone seen this done legally?

I want Cadent / National Grid to put the meters here, but I can't figure out if this is legal/ can't find any examples I really want them tiered like this to make way for an extension and to make the move of them cheaper Any thoughts?

Can these meters be moved to this position (by Cadent / National Grid), or is there a rule that says they can't be on top of one another? Is there some document that says this can be done....
