    The shower switch (outside bathroom) is fed by a 10mm cable and protected by a 32 amp cb. I want a 13 amp socket next to it, can I just fit one of those cooker and socket switches. thanks

    Drainpipe into Cast Iron Soil Pipe

    The drain pipe from my conservatory runs along the ground to a grid. Right next to the gutter outlet is a cast iron soil pipe can I "T" into it ? If so I would need to drill/cut into the cast iron and fit an adapter of some kind. Now I've typed this I don't think its feasible.

    Water damage

    Had a major leak in the loft of an empty relatives house. Water came through light fittings, wall switches and cooker point. After its all dried out what damaged would it cause to the electrics. The cooker point was shorting out so i'll replace that, what else has to be done? Thanks for all...
