    The sliding door will lift off, but was wondering if the non sliding fixed glazed panel will come out. So the fixed bar down the middle is separate to the outer frame.. yes?

    Sorry dont think I made my self very clear ! I ment indoor furniture to sit on. The doors are fine in every sence. Just need a bigger oppening to get the 'suite' in to the lounge. Hence the need for removal of the fixed glazed panel. Thanks again.

    As above really its time for some new furniture but nothing seems to fit the open part of the sliding door. Is it possible to remove the fixed part of the door with out major drama or damage? The doors are double glazed alloy aprox 15 years old.

    great I'll try that next time but it can wait till next year decorating the same rooms twice a year just is not on! by the way its a well lit modern house the lounge has three windows and patio doors. under the ornaments on the window sills it has now become very yellow/orange! thanks Paul..

    The paint I have been using is Crown Pure Brilliant White Non Drip Gloss (for interior & eterior wood & metal) 2.5 Litre. Always applied from the tin without stirring as per instructions and with new brushes. thanks P.

    guess your right was just trying to avoid having to run a'run round pipe' along the botom of the rad :roll: Cheers P.

    Leave the pipes in the wall, cut off above the cieling and run Chrome pipes down the wall ?. Do your pipes crack the plaster when hot, through expansion. Another downside of microbore :(

    I think I have badly worded what I'm after,that is I'm after a brand of radiator that will take the valve AND injector tube (a rad with a sump type base rather than 'H' type rad).All the rads I've seen so far only allow the tube to go in 1-2 inchs because of the rad construction. Thanks P.

    Most rads have bottom opposite end some micro bore systems, although not too common have a double valve on one end with a small pipe which fits in side the rad about third of the way to mimic the efect of the opposite end (but internally) this with its very neat external appearence is great...

    Do you know of any brands suitable for twin entry on ONE bottom end only (ie twin lock valve with injector tube/worm) as i don,t want to replace the pipe work to fit bottom opposite end rads. Many thanks P.
