Can you hide a FCU or socket in a cupboard as long as it's attached to the wall and not the back of the cupboard? I know that you can't attach to the hard board back of a cupboard but can you leave the back off or have a cut out in the cupboard.

Thanks Spark, so no electrician involvement needed. Same principle then, can I put in an integrated oven and wire it into the connection box behind the oven? The connection box is wired to the cooker socket above the surface, so it's all wired up properly.
