    Having taken other alternative advice it's the same - so it's going to be 18mm T&G chipboard. No worries on the truss front as it's well over specced. This baby ain't moving believe me. All internal walls are load bearing foundations around 2 metres with roof of 9 x 2 joists and 5 x 2 everywhere...

    Laying floorboards - self build

    I have bought enough 3/4 inch thick reclaimed floorboards to cover the first floor of my self build. Joists are at 600mm centres. What is the recommended maximum span (will 600mm be ok?). Should I install a subfloor first?
