Does not spin just makes loud noise and water will not drain. Any ideas

Customer wants me to plaster straight onto breeze block as the room is very narrow and he doesnt want to reduce it by rendering or plasterboard. I have plastered on render no problem is it the same principle. Cheers

Artex ceiling has been skimmed dried out over a week no cracks. Painted mist coat then second coat,now some long hairline cracks have occured, any ideas.

Anyone use them as im thinking of getting some for large ceiling work.

Whats the largest area ceiling you can manage on your own with no labourer, Ive just done one 6 metres by 4mm and it was blody hard work.

Always use Multi finish on Plasterboard ,does anyone use Board finish is so whats it like.

Have no problem skimming half decent walls but has anyone any advice on skimming a wall where some of the old plaster is blown and render falls away. Have built areas up with backing plaster (carlite) but struggle to gain same results when laying onto these areas as u tend to have to build it up...

Any ideas on how to keep mess down when you PVA a ceiling :roll:

Have to plaster a very large wall is it practical to do it on my own . Surely it will dry to fast for me to apply. Any thoughts :oops: :oops:
