    Making sense of relays.

When the pressure switch was "looped out" of service the intermittent problem continued. The relay, pressure switch and exhaust flue are housed outside. But once closed up, all electrical parts get quite warm there. All items are original, about 20 years old.

    Making sense of relays.

The "Rockwell" relay thats fitted seems very uncommon these days. I did find a very similar one that was £130 for one! As posters were confused about the pins. They are spades in a grid formation.

    Making sense of relays.

Hi, I need to rewire this relay as it seems to be dropping out during service. Its a Rockwell 240v relay. How do I work out what each terminal does? Its in the flue of a Stanley Range Cooker. Connected to cooker, exhaust fan and a pressure switch.

    Stanley 80k Cooker problem

Its a "balanced flue". That being an intake duct at foot level outside, exhaust above it. . The CH boiler works ok. Seems ok until about 200 where it locks out and will not auto reset or manual push.

There is already another little pump fitted for another bathroom and it works OK. That pump is never on during bath pump operation. Both on same level, different rooms.

    Heatslave 11 gets ever exited

Hello I have Worcester heatslave 2. It gets up to temperature then keeps going, eventually discharging water. PRV checked, flat plate exchanger changed, expansion vessel checked. What could be causing it to get out of control? The boiler is 5 years old, do thermistors go?
