    Painting walls once covered with wallpaper. help

    Hi I have removed about 3 layers of wallpaper from my walls. Under all the wallpaper is flaky paint and plaster. I can still see patches of adhesive on wall. I tried sanding the walls and then applying basecoat but I keep getting a blotchy finish. Any advice. ?

    Helicoil thread repair on wheel hubs

    Hi, I have a 850 volvo which i just bought. I realised today that i was missing two wheel bolts on the front wheel. (I couldnt believe it). The reason they were missing is because the thread is stripped on the hub. Someone told me that i could repair this using helicoils. Would that be ok?

    Cutting Laminate worktop without causing damage?

    Hi I have purchased a 3 metre length of laminate worktop which is 60cm deep. I need to cut along the 3 metre length to make it 40cm deep. What would be the best way to do this without chipping or damaging the worktop? I own a circular saw and a jigsaw. Any help would be greatly received :D
