Your saying the boiler burner lights ? Are you sure the burner is lighting, if not then there is a fault on the burner, or perhaps try resetting the over heat thermostat.

Are you talking about the Red lock out lamp/button on the front of the burner.

Are you Qualified to work on this cylinder. It is a legal requirment to have a G3 certificate to work on an Unvented cylinder. If you do something wrong, the cylinder 'could' explode ! :oops:

most bath panels come as 1500 & 1700. Some are plastic which can damage easily. Others are made of ply which can be cut to fil. I depends where you purchase a panel from, most good plumbers merchants will be able to assist you.

Your description makes the whole project sound difficult ! Why dont you replace the whole stack, then you can use all the correct fittings. That would include the branch connections to each wc pan soil pipe. That way you would not have to cut into the existing pipe work.

Most of all burners come complete. that includes the blast tube and flange to connect it to the boiler.
