    If he wanted to dry line it you shouldn't need to remove any plaster unless it's falling off, unless the walls are in a bad shape you should just be able to remove any hollow stuff patch it and reskim, anything else is extra work that you shouldn't need doing

    You could create a second skin on the internall wall with stud and board or the outside wall with a thin coat system

    People have tiled standard board for years and or you could use moisture resistant board, aqua boards a premium product for wet rooms

    3(sand)to(cement)1 scratch coat 4 to1 top coat with 1 shovel hydrated lime per mix top coat remember to sbr slurry if not blockwork good luck

    a good plasterer will charge min £150 a day which is good when a builder charges £200 a day for a trade he doesnt specialise in which would u rather?

    get a pro in plastering looks easy if i had a penny for everyone who said `i do a bit` id b a millionaire it depends how fussy u r it is an art when the light catches it youll notice the difference
