I've been given some 50mm insulation sheets and wondered if I can add normal kitchen foil to them?

Hi My builder has told me I don't need a concrete slab for underfloor heating. Just some hardcore and sand whacked - dpm - insulation - pipe - screed. Does this seem ok? Cheers
