i work for a major tarmac firm and there health and safety mad :x :x [not always a bad thing] but wearing a hard hat on a hot day and shoveling 160degree tarmac makes you sweat the moment you take your hat off then on you preaching the rules its alright for them they sit in an office all day...

building a book shelf 2.6m high so i need to join 2 pieces of mdf together will it be strong enough if i glue & dowel them? or do i need to get some kind of bracket made (didn,t mention it,s only 20" wide & 14" deep ) hope this makes sense any ideas

after finaly finishing my porch and not being the cleanest worker i have cement on my tarmac drive hows the best way of getting it off would cement acid be ok or will it damage the tarmac ?????
